Is Your ASP.NET Site Slow?
There are really three main reasons your ASP.NET site could be running slow.  They are:
1.  Your internet connection is slow
2.  Your server is slow
3.  Your ASP.NET site was "unloaded"

If #1 is your problem, get faster internet.
If #2 is your problem, change your hosting to www.PowerDNN.com
If #3 is your problem, use KeepAliveForever.

If you're expierencing problem 2, then I'd highly recommend you check out the folks at www.PowerDNN.com .  Their servers are amazingly fast and ultra reliable.

#3 is the big problem though.  Regardless of how fast your internet connection is or how fast your server is, the first time anyone visits your site, it will take FOREVER to load.  If that's not bad enough, if people don't go to your site for a while, ASP.NET will unload your site which will make it take FOREVER again, next time someone goes to view it.

KeepAliveForever is a great idea that really provides a good way of making sure your site will never be unloaded and always running fast.
